Meet Catherine Kamau, a Senior Associate at Ngeri, Omiti & Bush Advocates LLP, who joined our team through an exchange program under W-AKILI AFRICA.
W-AKILI AFRICA (or “the Network”), is a legal network whose primary goal is to develop and grow the practice standards of its member firms with a view to ensuring the provision of innovative legal solutions to clients from within and outside of Africa. The Network has presence in several countries across Africa including, Tanzania, Kenya and Rwanda with its Secretariat based in Nairobi, Kenya.
W-AKILI AFRICA has been in existence since February 1, 2019 with its Founding Members being:
1. Kilindu Giattas & Partners – the United Republic of Tanzania.
2. Ngeri, Omiti & Bush Advocates LLP – Republic of Kenya.
3. R & Partners –Republic of Rwanda.
Catherine spent two weeks at KG&P in Dar es salaam, Tanzania where she demonstrated excellent performance in carrying out her duties at the law firm. We believe in the power of international collaboration and the exchange program not only benefits our law firm, but also helps to promote cross cultural understanding and cooperation in the legal profession.

The exchange program will be an ongoing system which will give participants the opportunity to gain valuable insights into different legal systems, expanding their knowledge and understanding of how the law operates in different countries and jurisdictions. It will also provide an excellent opportunity for participants to network with other legal professionals, building connections that may prove invaluable in future business dealings or collaborations.
